Mauritius was founded about fifty years ago by Jurgen Raberg — a leather maker himself, who understood the finishing, the polishing, the cutting and the workmanship that make a great leather piece.
It has since grown into one of the largest leather companies in Europe, producing for many labels as well as its own.
THE APPROACH
The company is now run by Jurgen's children, Christian and Katrin, who grew up with leather and bring a modern eye to a solid European business.
