THE MAKER BEHIND MOST OF IT

Mauritius is a real leather house, founded around 1975 in Lingen, Germany by leather maker Jurgen Raberg and still run by his children. It is not a fashion label buying blank jackets, and that shows up in the hand-feel.
All of its leather is a by-product of the meat industry, with no exotic skins, and production is audited under the BSCI social-compliance code. Our other leather house, Scully, has been at it since 1906.
