When Lindsay Muscato's son was born prematurely, she practically lived in the NICU — constantly washing bottles and washing her hands. The black hair tie around her wrist stayed soggy, and one day it fell apart in her hair. It wasn't strong enough to survive the water and still hold.
As a busy mom, she'd had enough. As an entrepreneur, she decided to fix it.
THE SPIRAL TIE
She wanted a hair tie that was water-resistant, held strong, and looked good on the wrist. It took two years of researching materials and testing prototype after prototype to get there.
What came out grips without creasing, pulling or leaving a dent — and holds thick, curly, active-day hair all day long.
