Four friends in South Florida kept having the same complaint: every flip-flop was either comfortable or nice-looking, never both. Living somewhere you wear sandals year-round, that gap gets old fast.
During the uncertainty of 2020 they decided to make the pair that didn't exist. The first shipment of the Indie flip-flop landed in January 2021.
THE MAKE
Every pair is 100% vegan, with cushioned arch support, a padded footbed, a non-slip rubber sole and a water-resistant finish.
What began with one flip-flop is now slides, lace-ups and seasonal styles, in more than 180 stores.
We wanted to bring something to the market that didn't already exist.
